What's going on guys, Trey here with Ghost Tactical at the H&K booth with Sean.
Sean is a competitive shooter, shoots 3-Gun for H&K.
Guys, I shot the SP5K on the Range at media day on Monday.
Unbelievable gun, Sean is going to talk a little bit about it, so here we go.
We finally have a civilian MP5K.
It doesnt come with a briefcase and a trigger but it sure is a lot of fun.
It comes with the same back plate as any of your delayed roller lock guns.
Really easy to take down.
Just pop these takedown pins out and you can pull them out with your hands.
Probably the easiest gun to take down and clean.
It's it's a large format pistol.
Chambered in 9mm, runs your standard MP5 30 round magazines.
It has a button release, we don't have the the paddle release for several reasons.
We've got a brand new handguard.
This is equipped with a nice hand stop, you know to help keep you from shooting your hand
off.
I tend to hold my K's down here when I'm shooting them anyway.
Also comes with a bungee sling so you can get proper tention when you press it out.
A lot of people though like to get stabilizing braces or even go to the trouble of filling
out a form 1 and SBRing it.
This is a delayed roller lock.
If you're not familiar it's it's not like your piston gun is not like your direct impingement
gun, it's a different system.
In the carrier, there are these two rollers on the side.
When it slides forward, as soon as the gun fires, there's a slight delay before it goes
back.
And the feeling between shooting something like this that's a direct gas gun is like
the difference between driving a dune buggy on the desert and driving a BMW on the Autobahn.
The one I used to competition, I got a Vortex Optic Sparc AR Red Dot on top and folding
brace, and that's it.
It works great.
The mags will drop freely with the button.
It's got a pic rail on top so you can mount whatever you want on it.
Super easy to take down.
The trigger pull, super fun.
Feels about like 8 pounds it's not quite a big 12 pound double action trigger It certainly
isn't a hair trigger.
It's got a 4.5 inch barrel.
It is not a full size MP5 frame, it is a MP5K frame.
So, your standard fixed unremovable ghost ring MP5 front side and then MP5K diopter
sight.
A lot of people like to replace these with the full size MP5 sites that are little bit
little bit different.
And and frankly, it's accurate.
I remember the first time I got this I didn't put anything on it, just shot of iron sights.
I took it out to the range, and yea, it's accurate.
It's very accurate.
The hole on the paper just started getting bigger.
I started 10 yards, then, 15, then 25.
You want something fun to shoot, something you can compete with and something that's
just going to be reliable as hell...
SP5k.
Thanks Sean, for going through the SP5K.
Like I said, I shot this on Monday at the Industry Day at the Range.
Unreal, love it, probably going to have to add one to the arsenal some time.
It's well worth it.
I love PCC's.
I've got a bunch of them at home.
This one, just has so many different options and so many things you can do with it, unbelievable.
It runs so good.
It's HK, you know it's going to be good.
It's awesome.
Well guys, I want to thank Sean for taking some time out of his day to talk to a little
bit about the SP5K.
Once again, it is not the full-sized MP5 frame but it is the K frame but it is a civilian
MP5.
So guys, if you're interested in the MP5K or PCCs in general, you gotta check this out.
Guys make sure go check out their website.
All their links are in the description below.
Their website is www.HK-USA.com Also, you can find them on Facebook, on Instagram,
on Twitter, and on YouTube.
Well guys, thanks for tuning in.
Until next time, Semper Fi
