The only two things that I don't like about folding my soft top all the way back is when
it bounces around in the back while I'm driving, and when dust and debris get in it when I'm
off-roading.
And if you're like me, I'm sure you hate dealing with that just as much.
When I'm putting the top back up, I really don't want any of those twigs, and branches,
and unexpected critters being exposed to the inside of my top, making their way inside
of my Jeep.
The J Tops USA Soft Top Boot is the highest quality soft top boot on the market right
now, and is the perfect way to avoid those problems.
The boot gives a clean look to the back of the Jeep, and with multiple color options,
it provides some pretty stylish soft top storage.
I would like to mention that these boots are door specific.
And this boot that I have in front of me is for the four-door model.
We also have a version for the two-door options available.
So, make sure you get the right one for your JK.
With the design of this boot, the install is super easy, and I'm giving it a one out
of three wrenches on the difficulty meter.
If you know J Tops USA, then you know they design their products with the best materials.
This one, in front of me, is made of a red marine-greyed vinyl.
But we also offer blue and black options for the unlimited models.
On the ends, this has a neoprene nylon, which is gonna provide some give when you're stretching
the boot around the soft top hardware and the fabric, making everything nice and snug.
But you won't have to wrestle this on, making it hassle-free.
This secures with heavy-duty polypro straps and heavy-duty quick snap buckles, making
the install and uninstall much easier than other options that zipper up.
If you don't know what polypro material is, it's a soft, flexible fabric made from thermoplastic
resins.
That sounds a little technical, but this basically means that they're heavy-duty and perfect
for outdoor use, since they're UV resistant and waterproof.
Now, not just the straps are UV resistant and waterproof, but the whole soft top boot
is as well.
So, this will last a long time and do a great job at protecting your very expensive soft
top from any sun or water damage.
This fits all standard OEM and premium soft tops, and not to mention, all of J Tops USA
products are, as they say in the name, made in the good old U.S.A.
At the moment, this is the most expensive option on our site for a soft top boot.
But as you can tell from the long list of features, this is the highest quality, also
explaining the price.
This is right around the $120 mark, for both the two-door and the four-door versions.
There are less expensive options that we offer on the site available, like the Rugged Ridge
and Smittybilt Soft Top Boots, that can range anywhere from about $50 to $90.
These options are designed differently, and they don't have all the quality features that
J Tops presents in their boot.
The other options will secure by zipper, which can be a bit of hassle, because zippers can,
and do break.
And they secure it to the Jeep differently.
Lastly, they don't offer multiple color options, which is a big thing in the Jeep world.
Now, I don't wanna discourage you from also looking at these products because, if you
are looking for a more affordable option, they're still quality products.
But if you are looking for one of the highest quality soft top boots, J Tops is gonna be
the option that you wanna look at.
This has great reviews and I wouldn't expect anything less from this product.
In my personal opinion, this is definitely worth the investment, since you're using it
to protect an even more expensive investment, your soft top.
Like I mentioned before, this is a super easy install, making it a one out of three wrenches
on the difficulty meter.
All you're gonna need is about 20 minutes of your time for the first install.
And once you get more familiar with the product, then this will take you no time at all.
First, fold back your soft top according to the manufacturer's instructions, by pulling
the fabric towards you and layering it.
Then, open the tailgate and loosely slide the boot over each end, stretching it over
the frame and extending it full length left and right.
Next, starting with the center strap, tuck and roll the fabric portion of the soft top
inside the boot.
Pull the inner flap out, and loosely buckle and continue to roll the remaining fabric,
loosely buckling those as well.
Once everything is buckled, start tightening the straps, tucking the edge of the boot underneath
the top flap.
This will allow the water to roll off the boot, instead of collecting inside of it.
So, if you're looking for a high-quality soft top boot for your JK, J Tops has you covered.
