Any idea who discovered the force of gravity?
Well, if you paid even the slightest of attention to your science classes back in school you'd
know about this guy called Newton who questioned the apple upon falling on earth from the tree
and not project into the sky.
Tough question, poor apple!
But Isaac Newton realized that it was because of gravity that pulls everything downwards,
an important discovery since we function as per it!
But what if we tell you that there are some places on Earth where you'd question the
existence of gravity?
We see some interest rising so let's take you on a tour of anti-gravity spots on the
planet.
Oh and yes, fasten your seatbelts, we don't want you flying away!

go the extra mile to visit this tourist attraction near Santa Cruz!
After a short walk uphill you'll reach a small wooden building which is often referred
to as the 'gravity box' as the laws of gravity and physics seem to disappear inside
it!
You'd probably see balls rolling uphill or you can try leaning past your toes because
hello, you won't tumble down!
Declared as California Historical Landmark #1055 in August 2014, the Mystery Spot is
actually an illusion induced from the 20-degree tilt that the house is built on!
Misperceptions occur because we judge everything in comparison to the house and not the actual
land!
Yes, we have been fooled but the experience is still cool, give titanic pose a tilt, what
say?
Cosmos Mystery Area Before you enter this crazy place, you'll
come across a sign board that might trigger a reaction of either fear or interest!
According to the sign, "the laws of nature seem to have gone completely berserk", and
trust us, it does feel that way.
Set in the Black Hills National Forest, the mystery area includes a shack that appears
to be lopsided, we aren't kidding!
Would you believe us if we told you that standing on a particular spot you might suddenly shrink?
Scary!
Another interesting thing that will happen is that you'll find yourself standing sideways,

This massive construction has the ability to stop floods, provide irrigation water and
produce hydroelectric power so we already are bowing down to it but what's with the
anti-gravity thing?
If you ever happen to visit it, perform a simple act of emptying a bottle of water in
the dam.
The amazing thing about this 'silly' experiment is that the water from the bottle will rise
up instead of flowing down into the dam!
Gravity decided to spare this place it seems!
The secret lies in the design of the dam that causes a powerful updraft to whatever falls
down and then strong winds in the place also have a role to play.
But it's a spectacle to watch at least once!

Well there is a box marked on the road and if you park your car there, you can experience
an anti-gravity push and your car will start to roll uphill!
Yea people, we aren't kidding, the experience is shocking!
Okay now enough of 'magic' talks, time to spill the beans!
The truth behind this gravity anomaly is the fact that the road is actually a downhill
and not uphill!
This might confuse you but the surrounding area is such that it makes you feel that you
are going uphill when in reality the reverse is happening!

The reason behind this is the power of strong winds that blow in the area causing the water
to blow upwards, simple!
