Ariel Helwani says that sources told him prelimary talks are underway to book Robert Whittaker
vs Luke Rockhold for UFC 221.
However, It's not 100% confirmed yet.
Luke was on the MMA Hour show a few days ago and was asked what he thought about Kelvin
Gastelum campaigning for the title fight at middleweight.
Luke said, "Gastelum got beat up pretty F**** bad by Weidman a few months ago."
He also said "I'm ready to fight when it makes sense.
I'll tell you what doesn't make sense, Kelvin Gastelum doesn't make sense."
Kelvin must've caught wind of Rockhold's comment because he then jumped on Twitter
and took a jab at Luke.
He said Fighter A: fought only once in 18 months against someone who wasn't even competing
in the ufc a year ago.
Fighter B: Fought 4 times in 12 months, 3 of them in the main event in the last 8 months
against former champions ranked in the top 10 of the division.
And *Doesn't have a modeling career.
Luke has yet to respond.
Kelvin did move up from 9th to 6th in the middle weight division after knocking out
Michael Bisping.
But still finds himself behind luke who is ranked number #3.
So, Who do you think has more of a case to fight Whittaker for the interim title?
Stipe Miocic vs Francis Ngannou has been officially made for UFC 220 in Boston on January 20th.
If this fight happens we'll see them on the same card as Daniel Cormier vs Volkan
Oezdemir.
I'm sure Daniel is celebrating just about now since his paper-per-view points are gonna
go up sizeably now that Ngannou just became that much more popular.
Emil Meek posted this photo of a passport and captioned it I'm coming #ufc219 but
He isn't responding to his fans whether he's coming to fight vs Kamaru Usman or
if he was booked to fight a replacement.
According to the Daily Star Ronda Rousey will be joining the WWE soon enough as people close
to her told USA today that she's finalizing a switch.
We'll see if this is permanent as Dana White said a few days ago at a scrum, that, although
she still gets tested by USADA, she's made no mention of returning and refuses to retire.
I found that hard to believe so I jumped on the USADA site to see for myself as they disclose
all their testing done on athletes.
It does show she was tested 9 times in 2016 but yielded no results for 2017.
So you be the
shut up shut up.
shut up.
sit down and shut up.
