Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News - I'm Oli Davis, and move aside Luke Owen;
because I'm one step closer to having a new best friend forever.
The More Iconic Duo Last week, AJ Styles called a young fan into
the ring because of her sign "All I want for Christmas is a hug from AJ Styles",
which Styles Claus granted with a big old embrace.
Thinking the girl was onto something, I then held my own sign up on last Thursday's WrestleTalk
News that read 'All I want is to be Nia Jax's best friend."
SWAFT Nation member Orlando Wolverine then took that Zombie Beach Ball and ran with it,
tweeting my dream to Nia Jax herself, who replied:
He will have to submit a formal application with @AlexaBliss_WWE
I'm on it, Nia!
But this is a lot of paperwork.
How many people can you Samoan Drop in one go?
17.
A 15,000 word essay on why I'm not like most girls.
I'll do that later.
Right of attorney to Alicia Fox.
Hey, if that's what it takes to be Nia's best friend, then legal consequences be damned.
But I better get this submitted quickly, because not only does Nia need help against Paige's
Absolution faction… a new team might also soon be invading WWE's women's division.
Ronda Rousey WWE Training UFC fighter Ronda Rousey is a longtime fan
of professional wrestling, attending independent promotion's like PWG and beating up the
McMahons at WrestleMania.
But in recent months, it appears she's preparing for an actual match in WWE.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that WWE are "very high on the Horsewoman
vs. Horsewoman idea" - of Ronda's UFC faction with Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke
and Mae Young Classic finalist Shayna Baszler against the WWE version of Charlotte, Bayley,
Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.
And Fightful reported in August that Ronda was training with Cruiserweight wrestler The
Brian Kendrick for her professional wrestling debut.
And now, in a video promoting her new website RondaRousey.com, it appears she's picked
up a new training partner: former Smackdown Women's Champion Natalya.
The one minute clip has a lot of WWE and wrestling focused footage, heavily implying that's
the next project on Ronda's horizon - which is currently rumoured to be the Four Horsewomen
match at WrestleMania 34.
R-Truth Injured While R-Truth might not have been on TV since
a Battle Royal on Raw in August, he has been appearing at WWE live events, mostly losing
to Elias.
But recently even those appearances have stopped, with R-Truth not wrestling on a house show
since the middle of October.
R-Truth has now revealed the, well...truth behind his absence on Twitter:
What's up y'all!
Hey if anyone is wondering where I am, please read my earlier tweets.
🤣 people asking me the same question everyday, why am I not on WWE.
I AM INJURED Sheamus Working Through Injury
Hopefully the same doesn't happen to current Raw tag team champion Sheamus, who is currently
working through injury.
He revealed in a video on his YouTube channel: "For the last six months I've been suffering
with serious stenosis ... neck issues."
This could be why Sheamus missed last week's Raw.
