Today is USA Track and Field's first-ever completely inclusive Run Jump and Throw event.

I think when a community values every child the community is better.

Kids run jump and throw differently, but when they do it together they have fun.

They learn to play together. They learn to recreate together,

and eventually they learn that they're not so different.

Kids play together.

They run, jump, do pushups, stretch, throw balls, and more.

Tucker Wick, a young boy in a wheelchair begins to speak.

He pushes the wheelchair alongside people running on the track.

I like these games that they're doing right now.

I'm doing track and field, and I'm doing

games and stuff.

I just like knowing new friends and

playing with friends.

We treat all the kids the same.

It doesn't matter if they have a disability.

The USA Track & Field Run, Jump and Throw event is really a way to expose kids

to track and field skills that can really help them

learn how to build momentum in the sport and possibly participate in track and field at

middle school, high school, collegiate, or even at the Paralympic or Olympic level.

A crowd of kids screams yes.

NFL :Roger Goodell Wants Nearly $50 Million And a Private Jet in Next Contract |MK Today - Duration: 3:11.

Report: Roger Goodell Wants Nearly $50 Million And a Private Jet in Next Contract.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, whose contract with the league expires next year, reportedly

wants $50 million per year in salary, lifetime access to a private jet and lifetime health

insurance for his family to be included in his next contract.

Gee, why not just ask to be crowned emperor while you're at it, Goodell?

Sources confirmed all this over the weekend to ESPN, which claimed that the NFL's compensation

committee intends to hold a conference call Monday to "address Goodell's salary and

compensation package."

"The last written counterproposal from Goodell, which was around the first of August, was

seeking about $49.5 million per year, as well as the lifetime use of a private jet and lifetime

health insurance for his family," ESPN reported, citing unnamed sources.

If these claims are true, it would prove Goodell is one very greedy man.

According to an unnamed NFL team owner who spoke with ESPN, there are a number of "owners

in this league who don't make $40 million a year," let alone $50 million.

"That number for Roger just seems too much," the owner reportedly said.

"It's offensive.

It's unseemly."

But is it true?

In a statement to NBC News, NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart said otherwise.

"The only element of the ESPN report that is true is that there is a regularly scheduled

Compensation Committee conference call on Monday," he said.

"There is no basis in fact for any of the other reporting," he added.

"Those trying to peddle that nonsense are profoundly misinformed or deliberately trying

to mislead."

All this follows another report by ESPN published last week that alleged Goodell "is 'furious'

about (Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry) Jones' and other owners' insistence that his next

contract's compensation should be more performance-based, including incentives that would allow him

to be paid at roughly the same level of his current deal."

"He feels as if the owners have made a lot of money and he should be compensated accordingly,"

ESPN's source said.

"The incentives thing really angers him."

Jones has been butting heads with Goodell for years now.

He's been especially critical of Goodell's atrocious management — from allowing the

NFL's national anthem protests to continue undeterred to taking limited action against

players accused of domestic violence.

The Dallas Cowboys team owner has likewise threatened to sue the NFL if it approves Goodell's

new contract, ESPN claimed.

Assuming this is true, I don't blame him.

Given how much damage the NFL has incurred under Goodell's leadership, I'm tempted

to argue that he doesn't even deserve to remain as commissioner, let alone have his

pay upped.

Honestly, Goodell seems more deserving of a pay cut, if not the permanent expiration

of his contraction.
