Who is allowed to use Anointing Oil? That is an easy question to answer.

Everyone is allowed to use Anointing Oil, just not for every occasion.

There are different types of Anointing and different

occasions to use it for.

Everyone, that is every Christian

is allowed to use Anointing Oil for personal use

and for use in their family. For example, a man may Anoint his wife

parents may Anoint their children. You can also use Anointing Oil

during ministry, when youre praying for someone and when the Holy Spirit leads you to Anoint that person.

There is an exception. When someone is sick

the Bible does give an instruction which can be found in James 5:14-15.

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders

of the church, and let them pray over him

anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

And the prayer of faith will save the sick

and the Lord will raise him up.

And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

God always respects the authority structure

that He has given. Therefore, we should always follow

His instructions first. But there is a distinction

between the Anointing for the sick and the Anointing

for personal use. Those are two different types of Anointing.

The personal Anointing can always be used.

When it comes to healing, the leaders of your Church

have a responsibility for your welfare.

God has appointed them, but He also holds them

accountable and they will have to give account

for what they did with that responsibility

when they appear before the judgment seat of Christ.

So call them first and let them pray for the sick. Meanwhile, just continue the personal use of Anointing Oil

and use it daily.

Throughout the whole history of Israel

the Jewish people used Anointing Oil on a daily basis.

Personally.

Everyone used Anointing Oil to Anoint themselves daily. In the first Churches, all the Christians used

Anointing Oil daily for their own personal use.

And not only the first Churches, for this continued during

the first nine centuries of the Church.

Until some religious leaders decided that the Anointing Oil

shouldnt be used by ordinary people

but only by leaders.

But those were man made decisions, Church rules that are not in line

with the will or the Word of God.

It was and is a strategy of the enemy, to rob the Church from its power. The thing we must understand about God is that He is always consistent.

He doesnt tell you to do something

to tell you something entirely different the next day. When He speaks, His Word stands.

One of the best examples of the personal use of Anointing Oil

can be found in Matthew. In Matthew 6:17, Jesus tells

His disciples: when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face.

Why did He tell them that? As a religious act during fasting?

Absolutely not.

Anointing yourself was such a common use

that all people walked around with their faces Anointed.

The thing was that the Pharisees and Scribes loved to show

that they were fasting, in order to receive

the honor of man. They did so by putting on a sad face and

by not Anointing themselves. When you didnt Anoint yourself

in these times, you really stood out and the people could see that something was going on with you. It was also a common use that you

didnt Anoint yourself during times of fasting

so it wasnt a strange thing to do.

The Pharisees and Scribes did it in order to make it visible

to the people that they were fasting.

To show everyone how religious they behaved.

Jesus dealt with this issue, by saying that when you are fasting

that you need to do that for our Father in heaven

and not to be seen by man. Thus He commanded His disciples

to act as they always did, when they were fasting.

In other words, they needed to wash their faces, as they always did

and they needed to Anoint their heads, as they always did.

By doing so, they looked exactly like anyone else, without anyone

noticing that they were fasting.

How do I use Anointing Oil for personal use?

There are three different types of applying Anointing Oil and

there are many more purposes with a specific spiritual meaning.

The personal use of Anointing Oil has been and is always allowed.

The way everyone always used it, that is the way the Jewish people

and all the Christians in the first nine centuries used it

is by what we call Mashah. This way of Anointing is

to pour a little bit Anointing Oil on your hand

and then to gently apply it to the whole face

in the same way that you wash your face.

This way of Anointing was the most common used

and the way people used for personal Anointing

and for the Anointing of the sick.

Let us take a look at a few Bible verses.

And wine that makes glad the heart of man

Oil to make his face shine

and bread which strengthens man's heart.

Let your garments always be white

and let your head lack no oil.

One of the meanings of the use of Anointing Oil

was to make the face shine. The prophetic meaning of this

was and is the shining Light of God

Who has filled us with His oil

which speaks about the Holy Spirit

and Who has set us ablaze.

It is an image of the glory of God in and on us.

Examples of what happens when the glory of God is near

can be seen in Exodus 24:17, Exodus 34:29-30 and Matthew 17:2.

The meaning of the word Mashah

is to daub or to smear, but also to stroke

to draw the hand over, drawn out and chosen.

You are drawn out of this world. You are His chosen one.

His hand is upon you.

All together, these meanings show the total picture of Anointing.

So when you're using Anointing Oil for your own personal use

you can do so by applying a little bit of Anointing Oil

upon your whole face, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

while believing that His promises are true

and that He is with you always

just like Jesus promised.

One of the beautiful images of Anointing yourself

is that the time of mourning has passed.

This is a bright new day, a new beginning

and God is with you.

What is the meaning of Anointing Oil? // The Anointing Oil Shop - Duration: 6:03.

What is the meaning of Anointing Oil?

The Anointing and the use of Anointing Oil have a deep spiritual meaning.

And with spiritual I mean Spiritual with a capital S. It is not 'an' image, but 'the'

image of empowerment by the Holy Spirit.

It is a symbol of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in man.

The anointed ones are also referred to as sons of oil, the ones with a shining countenance,

glowing ones, bright ones and God's great ones.

The question that remains is, of course, what it should express?

Whenever I read these terms and descriptions of anointing, I always have to think back

to these verses:

The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain

in the eyes of the children of Israel.

Now it was so, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony

were in Moses' hand when he came down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that

the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him.

So when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone,

and they were afraid to come near him.

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up

into an high mountain apart, and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the

sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

Whenever the glory and holiness of God becomes manifest, this is what happens.

I have heard and seen that events like these are still happening in these days, just like

the fact that the miracles of the Bible are also still happening in these days.

Yes, all of them, and more.

God has never changed.

Jesus never changed.

If we move in the same faith as the disciples, if we preach the same gospel as they did and

if we pay the same price they paid, all the signs and miracles that followed them, will

follow us as well.

Not from our own strength or by our own efforts, but by the power of our best Friend, Comforter

and Companion, the Holy Spirit.

All things are really possible, if we have faith.

All earthly materials and all the people of this earth are not naturally holy.

When the Tabernacle was built, none of the materials were holy.

The people who were about to become priests, were not yet holy.

Everything became holy, because of the Anointing.

Whatever was Anointed became holy from that moment on.

Here's an example of that principal.

And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it;

and you shall hallow it and all its utensils, and it shall be holy.

You shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar.

The altar shall be most holy.

What kind of Anointing Oil fragrance should I use?

The Word of God is not just a random collection of words, even though the order of some Bible

books have been changed throughout the years, and even though parts were left out.

When God speaks, He carefully weighs each and every word He says.

He never says a word too much or too little.

Each Word has a meaning and a message for us in these days, even though it may sometimes

look random.

The fact that 201 chapters and 345 verses in the Word of God are speaking about the

oil, and the fact that the term 'Anointed One', which is the translation for Messiah,

appears 596 times, tells us that there are almost 1000 Bible verses, where God wants

to teach us something about the Anointing and the Anointing Oil.

Why else would Jesus be called the Messiah?

If His name would have meant "Son of God" it would have been great as well.

But He is called the Anointed One.

Not because it has such a nice sound, but because it means something.

Most of the Anointing Oils in the Bible were fragrant oils.

But all of the Anointing Oils that were used for the service of the Lord were fragrant

oils.

The Anointing in the natural is a prophetic deed of empowerment by the Holy Spirit, of

the glory of God and of holiness.

Each fragrance of the Anointing Oils has a specific prophetic meaning as well.

When we use fragrances in the natural world, it is a prophetic deed of what already took

place in the spiritual world, but has not yet become visible in our natural world.

By Anointing someone with a fragrant oil, we show our faith in what Christ has already

done for us.

So, what fragrance should you use for your specific situation?

The best advice is always to ask the Holy Spirit what fragrance you should use.

If you don't know how to hear His voice clearly, keep in mind that He can answer you

by giving you a fragrance in your thoughts or by letting one fragrance stand out.

What happens in the spiritual realm when I use Anointing Oil? // The Anointing Oil Shop - Duration: 5:36.

What happens in the spiritual realm when I use Anointing Oil?

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through

us.

Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed

us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

That's what 2 Corinthians 1:20-22 says.

When you Anoint yourself, combined with faith in the Word of God for your situation, then

God's power is being released in that situation.

Does it mean that nothing will ever happen anymore?

No.

Your faith will still be tested.

You will still need to go through trials, while keeping your eyes fixed upon Jesus and

His Word.

But those who remain standing, will see the promise fulfilled.

When Jesus was tempted by the devil, it had a beginning and an end.

When He remained standing, the devil left Him and the angels came to serve Him.

After that His earthly ministry started.

We have heard so many testimonies from people who started to use Anointing Oil.

Some would call us to tell us that some people could no longer come near them.

Others told us that they suddenly discovered occult items in their homes.

Some told us that they experienced healing, while others told us that they could experience

God's rest again.

In the spiritual world the Anointing is extremely visible.

When you use Anointing Oil with faith, and when God's power is released into your situation,

it has an immediate effect in the spiritual world.

It is like you receive some sort of garment of God's glory over you, just like the face

of Moses had God's glory all over it, when he came down from the mountain.

That means that in the spiritual world you are shining light and where light shines,

darkness is being exposed.

They don't like that.

That's why you will see that some people, who are under the influence of the darkness,

will no longer come near you.

The enemy will still try to make you fall, but it is a lot harder for him to work around

you, when you carry the Anointing.

You are no longer an easy target, but you're still a target.

He will try to make you believe in his lies.

But when you stay close to the Word of God, when you allow the Word of God to live inside

of you, you have all the weapons you need to overcome.

What are the various types of natural Anointing? // The Anointing Oil Shop - Duration: 6:49.

What are the various types of natural Anointing?

The natural Anointing, meaning the natural way of applying Anointing Oil, has three different

types.

Mashah, Sprinkling and Pouring.

Mashah is the word where the word Mashiach come from.

As you may know, the word Mashiach means Christ, which literally means 'Anointed One'.

We often see that people put a little drop of Anointing Oil on a finger and then apply

it to the forehead, in the form of a cross, but this is not what the Bible shows in regard

to the Mashah Anointing, which is the type of Anointing that is used for personal Anointing

and for the Anointing of the sick.

Mashah Anointing is to pour a little bit Anointing Oil on your hand and then to gently apply

it to the whole face, in the same way that you wash your face.

The Bible shows us a few examples.

And wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, and bread which

strengthens man's heart.

Let your garments always be white, and let your head lack no oil.

But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face

The meaning of the use of Anointing Oil, was to make the face shine.

The prophetic meaning of this was and is the shining Light of God, Who has filled us with

His oil, meaning His Holy Spirit, and Who has set us ablaze.

It is an image of the glory of God in and on us.

The meaning of the word 'Mashah' is 'to daub' or 'to smear', but also 'to

stroke', 'to draw the hand over', 'drawn out' and 'chosen'.

By Anointing yourself, you show the whole spiritual world that you believe that God

has drawn you out of this world and that you are one of His chosen ones.

The Anointing by sprinkling is not for common daily use, but for special occasions.

As we know, the Holy Spirit is in us, but the Anointing by sprinkling is the image of

the Holy Spirit on us.

That is not instead, but on top of His presence in us.

After the forgiveness of sin and the cleansing of all uncleanness, this is the image of the

restoration or establishment of His holiness and glory upon our lives, by the power of

the Holy Spirit.

This can be considered as a spiritual garment.

He shall be with us, surrounding us by His glory, and He shall be in us.

The sprinkling of Anointing Oil is used to hallow people, items and places.

The aim of this type of Anointing is not to appoint, but to hallow.

This way of Anointing can be used to Anoint people, garments, items and places (like a

Church building, a house etc.).

The Anointing by pouring was and is only used to appoint people for ministry.

Throughout the Old Testament, this type of Anointing was only used to appoint prophets,

kings and priests.

When they were Anointed for duty, the Holy Spirit would come over them and empower them.

The Bible mentions several of these Anointings.

Kings were Anointed by pouring in the form of a crown.

That is pouring a circle on the top of the head, in the form of a crown.

Priests were Anointed by pouring in the form of a cross.

This happened from the back of the head, sideward to the eyebrows, from left to right and from

right to left.

Is Anointing Oil a powerful spiritual weapon? // The Anointing Oil Shop - Duration: 8:03.

Is Anointing Oil a powerful spiritual weapon?

Yes and no.

The Anointing Oil on itself is just olive oil with a fragrance.

It does nothing when the use of it is not combined with faith.

But combined with faith, it becomes a powerful weapon, for it releases the power of God into

a situation.

The meaning of the use of Anointing Oil, was to make the face shine.

The prophetic meaning of this was and is the shining Light of God, Who has filled us with

His oil, meaning His Holy Spirit, and Who has set us ablaze.

It is an image of the glory of God in and on us.

The word 'Christ' means 'Mashiach', which means 'The Anointed One'.

To be a Christian means to grow to the likeness of Jesus 'the Anointed One'.

If He is Anointed, you are meant to be Anointed as well.

The anointed ones are referred to as sons of oil, the ones with a shining countenance,

glowing ones, bright ones and "God's great ones".

That is who God wants you to be.

The spiritual meaning of not Anointing yourself, whether Christians are aware or not, is that

you are in a time of trouble and a time of grieve.

That's what the spiritual world sees when they look at unanointed Christians.

They see disbelieve.

The enemy sees that his strategy against you is working, which encourages him to continue

the attacks.

So how do you turn your situation into a situation of victory?

Ephesians 6 tells us: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against

the wiles of the devil.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness

in the heavenly places.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil

day, and having done all, to stand.

Then it tells about the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word

of God.

Now we know from Romans 10:17 that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

If the enemy is flooding your thoughts with thoughts of defeat and failure, you need more

faith.

The good thing is that you can build faith by reading, studying and proclaiming the Word

of God.

That same Word of God also acts as a weapon.

It is sword.

So you do not only defend yourself, you have to attack back.

That spiritual being that is trying to destroy your life needs to be silenced.

To the evil spirits, God's Word is like fire.

It is torture to them.

To us it means life and restoration, to them it means torture and destructions.

So use the Word!

Find out what the Word of God has to say about your situation.

If you're not sure how the Word of God applies to your situation, then just sit down and

pray.

Ask God to reveal to you what He has to say about your situation, through His Word.

Then start searching in the Word, with the attitude not to give up, until you've found

what you were looking for.

Once God reveals what His Word says about your situation, which He always does for those

who don't give up, then you will have your weapon.

Use that weapon!

There is no mercy for demons.

Use to Word of God to destroy the lies that were planted in your thoughts.

Proclaim the Word of God out loud.

When you use the Word of God for your specific situation, then you can show your faith by

the Anointing.

When you start to Anoint your face daily, you show the whole spiritual world that you

have faith in the faithfulness of the only Faithful One we know, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Anointing of your face says: "My time of trouble is over.

My time of grieve has passed.

I am risen from my situation, in the power of Jesus Christ."

It shows your faith in the Word that you are using to battle and conquer your situation.

Without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that

He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Is Anointing Oil meant for the last rites? // The Anointing Oil Shop - Duration: 5:30.

Is Anointing Oil only meant for the last rites?

It was a Jewish custom to Anoint the bodies of the deceased.

I was not able to find any evidence that the first Churches did that as well, but since

they did fully adopt the custom of using Anointing Oil, we have to assume that they did it as

well.

However, the 'last rites' is something that people know from the Catholic church,

which are religious man made customs, without any divine value.

These 'last rites' have done more harm than good to the people of God.

The only place in the Word of God where a man was Anointed right before His death, was

the place where Mary Anointed Jesus.

It was a very prophetic deed and very specific.

The origin of the last rites comes from the ninth century, when the Church leaders decided

that the Anointing was only for the sick, from that moment on.

A century before the Reformation, it even became worse.

From that moment the Church leaders decided that the Anointing was no longer for the sick,

but only for those who were about to die, which goes completely against the Word of

God.

So if you were sick, you had to wait until you were dying, before one of the Church leaders

was even willing to come and Anoint you.

After all, Church rules and Church rituals went before the Bible in that time.

In some Churches that is still the case.

And if they would come, they wouldn't come with the faith to pray for your healing.

They would come to prepare you for burial.

So many people have been blinded by the tangle of Church rules and Church rituals, which

are manmade and were never commanded by the Lord.

There is only one safe place in this world, and that is in the Word of God.

Church rules or Church rituals will never offer you any form of security.

Go back to the basic, go back to the Word of God itself.

Let the Word of God decide what is true and what isn't.

So is the Anointing Oil only meant for the last rites?

Most definitely not!

In fact, the Anointing Oil is not even meant for the last rites, since those are not even

Biblical, nor commanded by God.

The Bible tells us to Anoint the sick, so that they may be healed!

The ultimate purpose of the Anointing is always to bring salvation, healing, deliverance and

restoration.

It is never meant to give up!

There is so much more to share about the Anointing and the Anointing Oil.

You know, a few years ago I was sitting here...

in this exact spot, thinking I should really quickly write

a few studies about the Anointing and the Anointing Oil.

And I thought I knew most of it

most of what there is to know about these topics.

At that point the Holy Spirit stopped me and said:

There is more, there is more.

But are you willing to go after it?

I am willing to give it to you

but are you willing to take this challenge and to go after it?

Well, I took the challenge and I ended up with 345 verses

in the Bible that speak about

the Anointing and the Anointing Oil.

And the amazing thing is that it is not only

the Old Testament that speaks about

the Anointing and the Anointing Oil.

The New Testament actually says a lot about it as well.

And now you can learn everything that I've learned

throughout this journey, which took me a half year.

Because after all my studying and taking all these notes

I ended up with a book, called 'The Anointed Bride'.

Today you can order your copy

and learn the same things that I have learned

in that half year.
