USA news on Youtube Oct 4 2017

Hey everybody this is Randy Santel "Atlas" with Atlas & Zeus Promotions and

proud owner of foodchallenges.com! Very very nervous tonight, I'm going for

overall win number 459, but if I finish all this chicken in front of me I'm

gonna get $1,000 cash! I'm going for my third win in the state of Oregon, but I'm

in Corvallis, Oregon home of Oregon State University the Beavers I am at China

Blue restaurant I'm taking on their lucky 7 challenge now we've got 7 pounds

of Chinese chicken it looks frickin delicious! There are seven one-pound

servings all different sauces from what I understand all the reviews their

favorite that most people enjoy is the hazelnut that is here in the center. I

know those general Tso's and then a couple others but I've got one full hour

to finish this thing if I lose or regardless got to pay about 30 bucks for

the meal, but like I said if I do finish within the hour I will get $1,000 cash

that's what the jackpot is up to so let's get this challenge started!

All right a lot of my friends in competitive eating have beaten this. All

the pots that they've won vary, but going for a thousand bucks I needed to

help cover the trip expenses so let's go!

1, 2, 3. . . Boom!

This chicken is hot but it is still frickin delicious! All these sauces are

really helping get the chicken down but let's keep it going!

Bringing over a trash can over here [Owner] you can call me lazy.

All right so we're 11 minutes 45 seconds in I've made a lot of headway on

this thing. I think we got about three pounds left but they're bringing me some

Diet Pepsi and we'll get the rest of this down. Thank you.

Put that white flag in the trash!

Bringing in the shovel!

17 minutes in I truly don't think I could do this at a regular Chinese

buffet try and eat seven pounds of their chicken dishes but this is not a buffet

here at China blue and the food is frickin ridiculously awesome! Only

got about I'd say two and a half pounds left get this all done ending with the

hazelnut and then get that $1000!

Hey sir we don't have to eat all of the

chicken you don't have to so there's good hey Ethan will you take that.

23 minutes 25 seconds then now all of those sauces were mixing together and it was

starting to mess my stomach up but I'm gonna finish off with our ship

it's so good I'll eat it off the floor!

all right gonna finish off with their hazelnut chicken which is apparently the

favorite and most ordered here, but first I'm gonna get this done and then we'll

move on to that. Still got a little bit of space left, but for your own

reference all seven this is about one pound so all seven dishes are the other

six we're about this size!

The chef here at China Blue made this chicken it's freaking delicious but

thank you! We're down to one pound left.

Just over 30 minutes in I still have little under 30 minutes left but just

this little bit I am freaking full but I still have some room. Letting it play

Tetris down into my stomach but I think I got it.

This is suspenseful! Little over 35 minutes in!

Didn't think it was gonna be easy, and it certainly wasn't but last by 42 minutes and 6

seconds, definitely not the official record, some of my friends have done this

Molly, Nadder, Jamie the Bear, Eric the Electric, two of my friends Stephanie Wu

and Stephanie Torres, but awesome awesome challenge! Very happy to finally be on

the Wall of Fame here, my third win in Oregon I loved all of those chicken

dishes the hazelnut was great but I did that last and I just I just wanted to be

done with the challenge but it was still great, but thank you to China Blue

Restaurant here in Corvallis, Oregon for the awesome challenge! My overall win

number 459 still have to pay about 30 bucks for the Chinese food which was

well worth it but I am going to get $1,000 cash via check [laughs] to help with trip

expenses so thank you to China Blue Restaurant and thank you guys for

watching!

Back Squats Workout - Push as fast as bobsledder Jamie Greubel Poser | Wednesday Workout - Duration: 2:50.

(MY WORKOUT)

Hi! I'm Jamie Greubel Poser,

2014 Olympic bronze medallist in women's bobsled.

Today, I want to show you how to back squat.

As a bobsledder, we push a 165 kilo sled,

almost 365 pounds,

from a standstill to top speed in under 50 metres.

In order to do that as fast as possible,

we need to be strong and really fast.

So today I'm going to show you how to do a back squat,

so you can become strong and push really fast just like me.

(BACK SQUAT)

In order to back squat properly,

I want to teach you a few important things

to keep you safe, and help you lifting heavy weights.

(THE SET-UP)

The first part is the set-up.

We want to set the stand up high enough

so you can easily take the bar on and off of the rack.

That way, when you have heavy weight on your back,

you have a secure place to take the weight off

and put the weight back.

The second thing is going to be your stance.

You want to balance the weight in the middle of your back,

you want to have your feet about shoulder width apart,

and you want to pinch your shoulder blades

so your back isn't curving forward.

(THE ACTION OF SQUAT)

The next part of this exercise is the actual squat.

In order to start the squat,

we're going to keep the weight of our body on our heels.

You don't want to come forward onto your toes.

The next thing is you're going to

initiate the movement backwards with your hips,

and slowly stretch down to the ground,

until you're in about a seated position.

If you were looking from the side,

it would be about 90 degrees.

The next thing is when you come back up,

you want to squeeze your glutes,

and push up using your legs and keeping your chest out,

so your back doesn't curve again.

The great thing about the squat

is it is an exercise that you can incorporate

into many different parts of your training.

You can use it as a strength exercise

by doing heavier weights for lower repetitions,

or you can use it as a conditioning exercise,

with higher reps and lower weight.

It's really a well-rounded exercise

that you can incorporate into a lot of different training,

and it's perfect to become a great bobsledder.

Just remember this is a very complicated exercise,

and technique is very important

in order to lift safely and properly.

Don't be afraid to ask a coach or a team-mate

to watch you lifting

to make sure you're doing it right.

All right, now it's your turn,

so get out there and get lifting!
