USA news on Youtube Oct 10 2017

If in Congress an ultimatum fundin build his border wall or else any deal protecting dreamers

Is dead the timeline associated with the original mr.?

Campos has been a hotel security guard was shot a full six minutes

Before Vegas shooter opened fire - is wine country on fire ten people dead 100

missing at this hour the destruction is

unbelievable ESPN

Suspended this anchor Jamil after she calls for a boycott of the Dallas Cowboys

to try and

Sansa will not send as many of us in her announcement video

Blackburn takes credit for stopping quote the sale of baby parts so Twitter the app

banned that video it is astounding to me that Twitter that they

Would sense her a pro the message who you met him?

Did you know he could one day be present in the United States?

He couldn't he could one day be one of the wealthiest men in the country, but not Verne

I met him Donna was making seventy thousand dollars a year

All right here we go with the Fox News Alert a freshman at Texas Tech

under arrest of this hour accused of shooting and killing a campus police officer

19 year old Hollis Daniels

there's this picture was taken to the campus police station after drugs were reportedly found inside his room and where

He pulled out a gun according to police aimed right at the officer's head shooting him dead

Oh my goodness

Danielson took off sending the campus into lockdown for over an hour until police tracked him down that officer. Not yet

Identified we will keep you posted on what is going on down in

Texas at Texas Tech off where that officer was killed and the student was arrested all right now

Let's talk about immigration yesterday. We told you about the president's about 70 points that he wanted included in immigration reform. If not the daca

Situation was going to be resolved and of course you need 60 votes and of course

There's going to be a negotiation point if you want immigration to pass whether you're Republican Democrat majority or minority

However, it looks like Nancy Pelosi doesn't understand the word compromise. She's saying it's my way or the highway

She's saying if you don't fix daca and once it done by Christmas, then she is threatening to withhold support of the budget

Which could lead to a government shutdown yeah, so keep in mind, okay, so we know that when the president United States

Rescinded the doc and said okay, you got until March 5th, then he and Nancy and Chuck sat down

They came up with that big compromise, and they said okay. He's gonna protect the dreamers there, but mr. President

There's not going to be anything about the wall in there right so they were horrified to discover that

There was complete

construction of the wall and a whole bunch of other stuff that they didn't agree to and now they're trying to make their line in

The sand if we don't get what we want is complete protection for the dreamers

Then you know what the government will run out of money, and there's nothing you can do about yeah

So they said they don't have a hard and fast policy yet, but that's what they're speculating

Pelosi said this there's nothing in there's nothing in it to negotiate because it does not have shared values of who we are as Americans

Like border enforcement. I don't understand that right now

We're trying to get Republicans to vote on what we believe no kidding could someone tell her she's in the minority

Say, this is my point of view. This is my line in the sand. Well. It's so discouraging

I think T average American who's doing 25 things a day in saying wait a second?

What do you mean get Republicans to agree what I believe well the polls?

Remember the poll showed after she had dinner with the president

some Democrats were furious with her for doing that the poll showed most Americans liked the fact that they were trying to compromise and they

Were coming together, but this is her idea of a compromise. She says I don't like anything

I don't like anything about your plan president Trump. I don't want the wall, but we want the dreamers to stay meanwhile

He was saying maybe we could negotiate that will let the dreamers stay if you'd let us build the wall exactly right see

Keep in mind on Sunday the president sent to Congress 70 points

These are the things I want all right for the most part near 70 points

She doesn't even like one of them she likes no she plays like one, but it's on the other side

It's let the dreamer stay with complete protection and so you know what it's her opening bid yesterday

We talked about the president's opening bid with the 70 points hers is we're not going to change anything

Just let him stay now the negotiation begins I hope so because people do want to see something worked out and listen your year-plus

Away from the midterms if you can't get something done on immigration tax reform. This year. We could just forget about doing anything

Aren't they I mean it's everything is stalled. You can't get anything done

Nothing on the President's agenda is getting done, and I think it's great I agree with you. I think we should compromise

I think Democrats are compromised with Republicans vice versa I'm starting to think this thing with the National Football League is starting to get sticky

You're not really sure there's gonna be ramifications

It's over a year ago and Colin Kaepernick gradually sat down during the national anthem then later spoke out other people followed in his wake

At which time it continued this year, and we know the president this year said you know I've had it

I want those sob to stand then of course there was mass

Demonstrations over 200 people 200 players knelt or sat during the national anthem then it all changed after a week

Then it was calm this week, Jerry Jones says a lot of the sand if you sit you're not playing

that really caused Jamil Hill who two weeks ago avoided suspension by

Apologizing to go on Twitter and call out the Cowboys and Jerry Jones

right she tweeted this this play always work change happens when

Advertisers are impacted if you feel strongly about JJ. Jerry Jones statement boycott his advertisers, so keep in mind

This is the same person who called the present unit white supremacists two weeks ago. Did not get into trouble for that

Essentially they said you know don't keep apologized don't get political ESPN said

but yesterday she got suspended because it was a violation of their social media policy al

Sharpton is really angry that they have benched her I

Think it's outrageous to try and silence her will not sign this many of us

That feel with Jerry Jones is done

We supposedly a country where the First Amendment gives you freedom of speech, so he's saying if you want to play on my team

you suspend your freedom of speech your right to protest he has any saying if Janelle says well the

advertisers ought to know your feelings

Then there she's going to be silenced and suspended even for what he's talking about bottom line is here's the deal

ESPN pays fifteen billion dollars to get Monday Night Football all right they are in that their business is the football business they are

Hired to be a commentator. It's in their best interest not to have their commentator

During their show call out the Dallas Cowboys

That's not good for business that has nothing to do with freedom of speech you chose to work at ESPN

They selected you you go by their rules when a few weeks ago when she apologized you would think okay. I've learned my lesson

I'm not gonna be controversial anymore clearly. She's not and that's that's her right

She can be controversial

But ESPN as her employer has the right also to suspend her

Absolutely so yesterday when she was promoting the boycott of sponsors for the Dallas Cowboys keep in mind. She was essentially

Targeting the same advertisers who place their ads on ESPN big outfits like AT&T and Bank of America

And as Brian mentioned

You know ESPN needs so advertisers needs the NFL needs it healthy somebody who knows more about football than the average bear

would be former bear coach Mike Ditka, and he has this to say about what is going on in football right now I

Think that you have to be covered by it in this country

You got to look at a person for what?

He is and what he stands for and how he produces all of a sudden become a big deal now about oppression

There has been no oppression and several years that I know of I don't care who you are how much money you make

If you don't respect our country

and then you shouldn't be in this country playing football go to another country and play football if you can't respect the flag in the

Country then you don't respect what this is all about so I would say how do you?

Rosie O'Donnell tweeted out in support of

Jamel

Yes, we are hashtag system assist a systemic racism

So she is against Donald Trump her change in Hillary Clinton supports the players taken in a so now

politics football by the way

What a nightmare for coaches they need to focus on the game their jobs are on the line

and

everyone's divided ben roethlisberger

Walked into the Steelers agram said we're standing for now on obviously some players on the steelers didn't feel strongly about that

They got out they went out and played terribly and now they're losing so this whole thing is

couldn't be more of a mess and the president United States himself came out last night and

Congratulated. Jerry Jones for coming up and saying look if the players argue my team

They're going to stand up for the plot for the anthem where they're gonna

I asked them what if dak Prescott says I'm not standing so Jerry Jones, and what if nine players on the Cowboys take a seat

Then what happens does he say you're all you're all fired

We're playing a man down people gonna play both ways are they gonna forfeit. This is really this is going to set up

unbelievable lose-lose situation

It's interesting though the people who are fighting because of the division in our country are dividing the country

Football will never be the same

I mean, I just want to turn on the TV and watch a game

You know any popcorn and pizza, you can remember when he gets behind us that sports on it

the good old days back in TV with

It was pointed out to me yesterday that during the national anthem at a baseball game

They not only stood for the whole game with hands on the hearts

They waited for the flag to leave before they all left the sidelines listen rific

I think if you if you have a problem with the country protests. Do whatever you want

Do it peacefully you can take a knee?

Just don't do it during the national anthem too many people have died for this country indeed all right

It is 6:10 here in New York City

Jillian joins us right now and Jillian has it sounds like the police have changed the timeline out in Las Vegas

Yes, that's right. Good morning to you guys too at home as well

Let's begin with this

Fox News Alert and get you caught up on the new information police just revealing a hotel security guard was shot a full six minutes

before the Las Vegas shooter opened fire on a country music concert

Hayes's Campos was checking something out on Steven paddocks floor when paddock fired 200 shots through the door

Police had previously said Campos was shot during the assault and credited him with stopping it all eyes are on, North Korea today

US officials now fear the rogue nation might launch a missile in celebration of their national holiday party foundation day the Trump administration

Wants to deal with North Korea through diplomacy, but defense secretary James

Madison US military will be ready to fight if that fails

Army can do and that is you have got to be ready to ensure that we have military options

That our president can employ if needed

The president maintains he wants a peaceful solution

But says he is willing to use military force the Trump administration

Keeping a campaign promise to help coal country by repealing President Obama's clean power plan

It's wrong for the last administration to put our war on coal and it's right for this administration to say that the war is over

EPA head scott pruett will sign the proposed rule today to withdraw the plan which aimed to

Restrict greenhouse gas emissions from coal-fired power plants and the agency will declare that the rule exceeded federal law by setting

Unreasonable standards and a package a bait ball ends with two teams closer to the World Series and two others

pushing their opponents to the brink

Chicago Cubs beating the Nationals two-to-one to take a two to one lead in that series they play against night and the LA Dodgers

Sweeping the Arizona Diamondbacks overnight with a 3-1 victory

In the al the Yankees facing elimination, but beating the Indians to force a do-or-die

Game five in the Houston Astros moving on to the ALCS

After knocking out the Red Sox in Boston in Game four and how about this?

They celebrated obviously with champagne in the locker room

How else do you celebrate and patriotic outfielder Josh Reddick donning an American flag?

Speedo so you know good morning. Hey

Wear goggles yeah, it's the thing

That's a waste of champagne he's probably still in the shower. All right. It is 13 minutes after the top of the hour

17 minutes after the air we are back with the Fox News Alert

California's wine country on fire at this hour at least 10 people are dead 100 are missing the out-of-control flames

incinerating entire neighborhoods turning houses and businesses into

literal piles of ashes Adam Housley injures us right now from his home town, Napa, California

With how he helped save his family home Adam. This is it's all too personal for you. Isn't it?

Yeah, you know it's uh. It's pretty surreal to be standing here Steve. I mean you know just a couple days ago

We were talking about the shooting in Vegas and now we're here in

Napa where Napa and Santa Rosa got it really bad

if anybody knows wine country nappin, Napa and Santa Rosa or Napa and Sonoma County or night side-by-side basically

And there's four major fires burning in these areas

15 in Northern, California

We know 10 people that have perished unfortunately and another 100 just in Sonoma County

There's been 100

Missing-persons reports filed doesn't mean there are hundred people lost but that means they have been able to get ahold of them

There's no cell service here. This is Signorelli winery behind me take a look at this

I mean this is what's left of it

I grew up basically the bottom of the hill right below this winery and it my brother watched

It burned the ground last night and basically explode as you see scenes like this early this morning before

before the nightfall last night

You would still see planes in the air helicopters trying to battle these fires from above even though the smoke is unbelievably thick

It's truly hard to breathe at times all throughout the valley in the North Bay area where these fires are burning

I was out also with my own camera

Before nightfall I came across a couple of fire crews that are nowhere near NAFA ones about

45 minutes of where the other ones about two hours Novato fire and a Cal Fire team from Santa Cruz, California

They came here to fight fires, and they're in areas where they have really no. No no knowledge take a listen

Makes difficult for us and we got to get into areas that we don't really know we never see on a daily basis and we

Have to plan accordingly so we go along the houses and we take a look at them before the fire gets there we decide which

Houses we're gonna. Be able to save based on the preparation that the owners do and we prep them and go from there

And right now, what's you in those casualty numbers are 10 dead so far, but that number is expected to go up guys

Hey Adam before you go real quickly. How did you use Facebook to get kids from your high school to save focus houses

Yeah, my parents house is right at the bottom of the hill my brother's is right over there

Basically half mile down the road and the fire was brewing all through here. I was trying to get back up here

I was up here for harvest the day before I just flown back to LA and then flew back up

But as I was trying to get on the plane my dad. I'd call him on the phone and the fire flared up again

They've been fighting these fires for 24 hours, and so I basically I went onto Facebook and said hey can anybody help

And I had about 6 friends from high school fume

I hadn't seen since high school who showed up with shovels and just started helping put the fire out and your father's house is okay

Yeah, I keep checking on him actually I would do live shots here, and I'll run down there right now

There's still some smoldering embers, but so far so good guys

So they were just taking shovels dumping sand on top of the flames to put them out

Yeah, because yeah, because the power's out throughout the valley

There's no really no cell service here the power's out so you you got to use sand and dirt

There's no water well. Give them our best Adam. I'm sorry your family's dealing

Alright Adam had thanks to my guys. Thanks

Upgrading 280Z Engine & Turbo | Drift Car Dynamics EP1 | Donut Media - Duration: 5:18.

- What's up everybody, I'm Chris Forsberg

Formula Drift champion and welcome to the next

installment of Drift Car Dynamics.

As you can see my 1975 Datsun is in a million pieces.

On our last episodes we did a lot of adjustable suspension,

and just like any car guy, I just wasn't finished there.

I tore the car all the way down

to really build it up from the inside out

with an all new aesthetics package, interior and exterior.

Pull the engine out and clean and spot weld

the entire chassis to really stiffen it up

for our new adjustable suspension.

And while the engine's out I have new manifolds,

new turbo, and a whole new cooling system going in

to help make that extra power

so we're even quicker around the track.

(engine roar)

And once we're there I'm gonna show you

all the settings that we go through

to really dial in the car.

(guitar music)

So one of the biggest upgrades that we're

doing to the RB25 now, is a whole new turbo system.

Taking off this old, crusty, log style exhaust manifold

which as you can see is not equal length

it's not a good flow and it causes like a lot of heat

build up in different regions of the manifold.

But it's cast iron so it'll stay together.

However, what we're replacing it with

is this beautiful, equal length Dac Race manifold

two wheeler six into one

which gives an incredible amount of flow

for a lot more mid-range torque.

And then this extra pipe here

is for an external waste gate,

so we have a much larger valve to

control the flow of the exhaust through the turbo

to keep boost levels in check.

(engine roar)

Now anytime you're replacing exhaust components

on your turbo system, you wanna make sure

that you clean the surfaces really well

and always get new gaskets, because you want those

maning services to seal up nice and tight,

because you actually have pressure built up

in your manifold and that's what makes the turbo spin

and what makes the charged air going into your engine

and that's where you get your power from.

So any extra leak will cause boost lag

or just a lack of response from your turbo system.

(engine roar)

One of the other highlight pieces of this build

is this custom carbon and billet intake manifold

it's the true definition of function and form,

versus the stock unit, which is a cast piece

it comes up over the top of the engine

causes a very cluttered engine bay,

and a terrible routing system for a front mat inter-cooler.

This kit gives you a much more direct flow,

very lightweight and a huge single throttle body

which puts it way out in the front

so it's much shorter and cleaner routing system

for your inter-cooler.

Utilizing shorter charge pipes is just like the

exhaust system, it gives you faster response

and quicker boost time, so that you can

get the power to the ground a lot quicker.

(engine roar)

The obvious last piece we need for this setup

is our turbo charger,

which has just arrived, perfect timing.

Look at that.

That's a nice looking piece.

And the nice part about this system,

is it uses full V-band clamps,

so you actually don't even need a gasket

you can just clamp it on there and you can actually

rotate it to be in the perfect spot for your application.

Now with all the pieces in place

you can get a little bit of a better idea of how

a turbo system works.

The exhaust gases flow into the back side

of this turbo charger, spins this wheel here

which creates charged air coming through this housing

out through the inter-cooler and into the engine.

And like I said, you have a valve here

that regulates the pressure in this manifold

so that you don't over boost your engine and blow it up.

(engine roar)

Now another problem with these older cars

especially if you're trying to make a lot of horsepower,

is that they do not have good fuel systems.

Most of them even came carbureted,

so therefore you have to upgrade pretty much the entire

setup in order to get the proper fuel flow into your rails.

What a surge tank does is it's a secondary reservoir

for your fuel, which another fuel pump lives in

so that it doesn't get the cause and effect of

fuel sloshing around in a big ole gas tank.

So now we have a much taller narrower cylinder

with one pump sitting down at the bottom,

to create a direct flow with no aeration

so that we don't cause burned up pumps or burned up motors.

Now the last piece of this engine build

is a new set of Tomei cams.

On this motor, the camshafts sit on top of the engine

because it's a overhead cam setup.

What that means, is that the cams are spinning

on this shaft, based off the timing belt.

And as they rotate, these lobes will push down

on the spring bucket and push the valves open.

And the reason why we got after market cams,

is because you have a higher lift and a higher duration

which is the valve opens deeper and stays open longer

to allow more air into the engine.

And the way that you get that is with the cam design

of these lobes, the fatter the lobe, the wider the duration.

The taller the lobe, the higher the lift.

(engine roar)

Well we got the turbo system fully wrapped up

and on the next episode we're gonna

finalize the engine build and wrap up the rest

of the chassis and get this thing fired up

and ready for the street.

(engine roar)

(guitar music)

5 Things GERMANY DOES BETTER than USA - Duration: 8:22.

America, there are many things that I love about you.

But there are just some things that I think Germany does better.

Hey everyone! I'm Dana and you're watching Wanted Adventure Living Abroad.

I already made a video about 5 things that I think the USA does better than Germany,

so of course you should definitely go check that video out too.

But now here are a few ways that I think Germany has the USA beat.

Germany, you rock at getting people around town.

Sure, you can go by car in Germany if you want to.

But you know what you can also do?

You can also go by public transportation!

Okay, in some smaller towns and villages that's not really always so possible.

Public transportation isn't necessarily as numerous there, but in the cities of Germany,

there are often buses, trams, trains.

And it is amazing.

I love living in a city with public transportation.

Not into that? Prefer to feel the wind in your hair as you go?

Well then, how about riding a bike? In a bike lane.

Yes, some places in the U.S. do have bike lanes too, but I've talked to friends and

family who ride their bikes in the U.S., and they've told me that

sometimes the bike lane just ends. All of a sudden. With no warning whatsoever.

And that in winter the bike lanes often end up as the place that the snowplows just kind

of pile the snow into. Not the case in Germany.

So yeah, Germany, you definitely get two thumbs up for your public transportation and your

bike lanes.

I'm currently planning a whole video going into more detail on healthcare and insurance

in Germany soon.

But here I will just say 5 words: universal healthcare Germany thank you.

Of course, it's not a perfect system.

Nothing is, right?

But in my opinion it is pretty dang great having universal healthcare, and it has been

there for me when I needed it.

As I mentioned in this video here, I lost my voice and then had voice problems for,

like, a year due to some kind of weird throat infection, and I cannot express how grateful

I was to have German healthcare covering me.

I was able to go to a string of different doctors trying to figure out what was wrong,

get tests run, get medication, and go to speech therapy to help me get my voice back.

I'm just so grateful to have this kind of health safety net here in Germany.

So yeah, going to public university in Germany is basically free, or at least really cheap.

For a while there was a fee of I think five hundred euros per semester.

Then those fees were gone again, and it was once more free, and now I've heard that

in some places those fees are starting to creep back in.

But even if you've got those fees and you're paying around 500 euros per semester, that's

still quite amazing and low compared to the thousands and thousands of dollars that many

public universities in the U.S. cost.

If you want more information on that, by the way, I made an Ask An American video all about

college tuition in the U.S., so I will link to that in the corner up there and also down

below if you want to check that out.

Oh, and the cost of going to college in Germany?

Or non-cost in some places...yeah, it's the same whether you're from Germany or not.

Unlike in the U.S. where universities often charge way more just for out of state students,

in Germany it doesn't matter where you're from, everyone pays the same thing.

So yeah, I gotta give Germany full credit for this one.

As far as I'm concerned, they do university tuition right.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's our natural freaking body; I don't

know what the U.S. is so up-tight and uncomfortable with.

As I've mentioned in a couple videos before, which I will link to down below, here in Munich

there are even several designated areas in the city where you are allowed to walk around

totally naked, and one of these is in the English Garden, just around the corner from

the main downtown city center.

And even in parks where it's not a designated naked area, in the summer I very, very often

see women just chilling out on the grass topless, and nobody seems to care.

Why not?

Because they're just boobs. It's no big deal.

I've told some of my German friends about the breastfeeding in public scandal slash

controversy thing in the U.S. and they've just been completely baffled by it.

Like, controversy?

How can breastfeeding in public be a controversy they ask.

Yeah, in Germany it's just a non-issue.

And saunas here in Germany have both men and women in them, together totally naked, and

it's totally no big deal.

So yeah, I really just do prefer this more laid-back, chill attitude toward the naked

body here in Germany, because I'm mean, there's no need to freak out.

It's just the naked body. We've all have one.

I'm still not going to show you mine. As I said in the other video. They're my boobs to do with what I want.

In the U.S. there's actually no federal law mandating paid maternity leave, making the

U.S. one of the very, very few countries in the world not to guarantee

paid days off for new mothers.

And yes, some companies in the U.S. do offer some kind of maternity package.

But because there is no federal law in place mandating it, many companies and jobs don't

offer any paid days off, forcing many women to go right back to work after giving birth.

In Germany by law both mothers and fathers are provided paid time off after the birth

of their children, and mothers are provided paid time off before the birth too.

How much time? Six weeks off before the birth.

So my question for you is: same question as for the other video, what do you think of

these things, do you agree or disagree?

And what, if anything, do you think Germany does better than other countries?

Please let me know in the comments below.

Thanks so much for watching.

I really hope that you enjoyed this video.

We are creeping towards the 200,000 subscriber milestone.

Yeah, I can't believe that that's happening. Hopefully it's going to happen.

Thank you so much for your support.

And my plan is when I hit 200,000 subscribers, I'm going to put out another video in German.

That's the plan anyway.

So, yeah, please if you want to see that video sooner, subscribe and share my videos, thank

you so much!

And also a really, really big thank you very much to our patrons on Patreon, who help make

these videos possible. Thank you so much for your support.

If you would like to check out our Patreon page, you can find a link to that down in

the description box below.

Until next time, auf Wiedersehen!

Provided paid time off.

You know how hard it is to say that?

And one of which is in the English...

Okay...

How grateful I was to have Gerin...Ger...Gerance?

German insurance is Gerance.

And it doesn't...

Vice President Mike Pence Discovers Easy Way To Shut Down Trump's Critics Once And For All - Duration: 20:25.

Vice President Mike Pence Discovers Easy Way To Shut Down Trump's Critics Once And For

All

Vice President Mike Pence hit back at the losers of the left who were appalled at him

walking out of an NFL game.

According to USA Newsflash, he showed that he doesn't care what the left thinks when

it comes to his love for this nation.

He and Trump have accomplished a lot so far, but it is nothing compared to what will be

coming over the next 7.5 years.

Economic growth, strength in the global arena, and pressuring losers to get in line with

the America first attitude has been a strength of Vice President Mike Pence and the President.

And now, the man closest to the commander-in-chief, Vice President Mike Pence, has released a

statement in which he looked back on everything achieved by the administration.

In his statement, Pence said that Trump is achieving "results on the international

stage," adding how while critics engage in an empty rhetoric as well as pointless

and baseless attacks under his leadership, terrorist organizations such as ISIS are on

the run, and North Korea is isolated like never before.

He also backed up the president's stance on securing the borders as well as investing

more in the military, explaining, how by increasing our national defense and been gaging our allies,

the POTUS has "restored the credibility of American power.

Today our nation once again stands, without apology, as leader of the free world.

That's what American leadership on the world stage looks like and no amount of criticism

at home can diminish those results."

Pence released his statement on his official Twitter account late this Monday, which came

as a real slap in the face to all the opposing anti-Trump leftists who constantly deny the

success of his leadership.

What do you think about this?

how great

Mike

Pence is.

BREAKING NEWS TRUMP 10/9/17 , North Korea UPDATE ,Trump cut a deal with the Democrats - Duration: 19:17.

Excuse alert president Trump ready to strike a deal to protect hundreds of thousands of so-called dreamers

Young people brought here illegally by their parents

But not unless Democrats go along with the president's wishlist on immigration reform, and that includes a wall

Good morning to you

I'm John Scott another busy day i'm melissa france's President Trump looking to that deal to

sweeping immigration reform sending Congress a

70 point plan which includes the wall as John mentioned and thousands of additional ice agents, Kellyanne

Conway detailing some of that earlier on Fox and Friends

Deals with daca, which of course is on the minds of many Democrats and some Republicans

But it also deals with the president's first priorities

Which is to keep us all safe and secure it would have 300 new immigration judges 1000

I see agents because one of the major challenges

We still have is what to do with folks who are trying to cross the border illegally

Kristen Fisher is live at the White House with the details Kristen. What do we know so far?

Well, Melissa these

Demands are very different from the list of demands that Chuck and Nancy thought that they had agreed to

When they had dinner here at the White House a few weeks ago as one White House official put it last night

That was simply a deal

To work out a deal and that deal is now in serious jeopardy after the list of

Non-negotiables that President Trump sent to Congress last night

He wants Congress to pass a bill that would fund and complete construction of his border wall a bill that would stop

sanctuary cities by denying federal funding hire

10,000 additional ice agents and 600 prosecutors and Asylum abuse and chain migration and

Establish a point base system for green cards the president says quote these findings outline reforms that must be

Included as part of any legislation addressing the status of daca

So President Trump is now explicitly tying the fate of the dreamers bill to several

hardline immigration policies and the top two Democrats say that is the exact

Said of what they believed that they had agreed to when they sat down

Over Chinese food with President Trump here at the White House a few weeks ago

So they put out a joint statement last night that reads in part quote

We told the president at our meeting that we were open to reasonable border security measures, alongside the DREAM Act

But this list goes far beyond what is reasonable this proposal fails to represent any

Attempt at compromise, so this is bad news for the dreamers bad news for the roughly

700,000 young people who are now facing possible deportation

But very good news for president Trump's base

And his supporters who were starting to get a little concerned that the president might be backing away from one of his signature

campaign promises now Melissa it is very clear building the wall and

Completely building the wall and securing funding for it from Congress now a top priority once again for this

Administration although with all those points. That's a lot of room for negotiation, so it'll definitely be an interesting one to watch Kristin. Thank you

Thank you, so Kelly and Conway making it clear President

Trump is willing to protect those dreamers while also making major changes to immigration law at the same time

The message to the dreamers is that listen to what the president says he said he's open

To a deal open to figuring out a way

to to have a broader immigration

policy that

Certainly addresses daca the dream report so-called dreamer program, but along with all these other critical functions

Let's bring in Joe Trippi former a campaign manager for Howard Dean and a fox news contributor

Also Brad Blakeman former deputy assistant to President George W Bush

Good morning, - morning you on this Monday, so Joe. There is a carrot and stick approach here for the Congress

What do you think of it?

Well, I I think on a number of those things like the border wall

It's not clear that the president have

Republican votes enough Republican votes in the Senate to pass some of the things that are of his demands. It's much more likely that

compromise will happen

in Congress between the Republicans and the Democrats and put and send a bill to

The President's desk that isn't likely to have all these demands in it

He'll have to decide whether he signs whatever the outcome is or veto it, but I think that's much more likely than this proposal

Passing and and in even having enough Republican support to pass it there are some some tough

Methods in here Joe the president wants to build the wall obviously he wants to crack down on

Illegal people you know people who overstay their visas illegally lots of crackdowns in exchange for

Perhaps some action on the so-called dreamers will Congress go for it

Again, I don't think I think the wall is a non-starter for all the Democrats and probably some of the Republicans

Again a lot of it on the Republican side because of the cost and because there's there's better ways to do it

And so you just start there and in you already have this situation where the the president needs

Almost every Republican senator. He has he's picked another fight with another one of them senator corker, so how did how to put all those?

Enough votes together with these demands. I think it's gonna be a real problem

I'm not saying there won't be progress that there won't be a

Some kind of passage in the house in the Senate that arrives on the President's desk, but I think it's highly unlikely that

There's gonna be enough support for something with these kind of demands and hardline stances Brad

This is one of these signature issues that got him elected to the Oval Office

It is but it's not only a signature issue of the president. This is a signature issue everybody who ran in

2016 this is a signature issue of the Congress and it's going to be a test of our majorities another test

But let me say this Democrats have been in favor of the wall before they were against it

There is no doubt that we have a porous southern border as well as a northern border that needs attention

Which this plan does we have in an interior?

Immigration system that's broken. We don't know the people who have who have come here

Who are staying here illegally we don't have a handle on visa like we should we don't have a merit-based

immigration policy that makes sense

Letting extended families in we should be having people come to America that we need and that we want we should know the people that

are here and their intentions we should have secure borders all of this that the 70 point plan that the president has suggested is a

Negotiation it's a start of comprehensive immigration reform

We need it, and I think if Democrats are act in good faith. We'll be able to get a bill

I think that everybody can live with do Democrats want secure borders Joe I

Think everybody will want secure borders the question and I agree with Brad looked at that

There's going to be that. This is the starting of the negotiation. I think it's typical of

the Trump administration

Of the President himself to put you know the hardline

This is you know demands out there knowing that it's gonna move away from that and be able to

claim success at the end

and hopefully there will be a

plan that comes together in the House and the Senate that he can live with because that that's the in the end the

right question

I think I think there are people of good faith on both sides in the Senate and the house

that can come to agreement about a number of these issues that Brad just

Outlined the question is if the walls not in there

Just let's take that one if the fundings not in there for that

Does the president veto the bill because he doesn't get the one you know the?

One critical thing that he promised through the campaign or does he sign it and fight for the wall in another way

I don't know the answer to that I think that's the big question

All right Brad as as you

Well know you know Ronald Reagan signed a law that was supposed to end the illegal immigration once and for all

Nothing has has really changed in that arena this president

Seems to be taking a different approach in the same way he is with North Korea for instance

There's no doubt and look

Democrats and Republicans should be united on this we have a system that is completely broken we all agree on that

So the question is how do we fix it now when you talk about a wall?

we're not talking about the wall is the only option a fixed wall we're talking about using technology and using other methods of

Natural borders to secure the the specifically the southern border, but this bill also

contains

actions to be taken on the northern border, so let's let's

admit and Joe

I think will agree with me the system is completely broken both border security internal security and

And visa security as well as people who want to come here and work and live so if it's broken. Let's fix it

That's exactly why the American people

elect our representatives to get things done

But but trying to fix it is bringing all kinds of protest we're gonna have to leave it there Brad Joe. Thank you both

We'll have you back again soon they can be with you

FBI agents again searching the home of the Las Vegas shooter looking for clues to his motive a week and a day

after Stephen Pat had gunned down

Fifty-eight innocent people from his high-rise hotel suite will car is live in Las Vegas will what's the latest?

Melissa this morning we're getting a chilling account of the moments that played out right after the final gunshot

stopped firing a small group of officers raced up to

32nd floor a Mandalay Bay and once they made it inside of Stephen paddocks room

They say they found power tools a note with

calculations that showed how he can maximize his shooting accuracy in guns

everywhere

so many guns

So many magazines stacks and stacks of magazines everywhere it just in suitcases all neatly stacked

against pillars that were in the room all stacked up rifles place all throughout all kinds of

monitors and electrical equipment yet in there

It just looked like almost a gun store

Paddock who described himself as a quiet

Gambler who stayed up all night and slept during the day set up surveillance

cameras outside of his rooms the responding officers now say they actually thought those were booby traps because they had wires hanging out while the

investigation continues

So do the touching memorials every Hotel on the strip?

Then did slice last night for 11 minutes at the exact time of the shooting last Sunday night and listen to the state's lieutenant

governor described the outpouring of support

Las Vegas is accustomed to taking care of all the visitors who come here and taking care of the world who comes here and

this week the world is taking care of us, and it's comforted us and blessed us and

I just say thank you again on behalf of a grateful City a grateful state and God bless you all

As an example of that just a couple minutes ago, I saw a man drive up he got out of his car

He pulled out a Bible and started praying for about 10 or 15 minutes. Just one example of the thousands

we've seen in the past couple of days of so many people coming to pay their respects and

hundreds fleeing their homes in the face of a raging wildfire in California wine country why the fire chief calls this an

unprecedented disaster

Our priority right now is to get people out of harm's way keep it keep evacuation warnings and get get out

Right now out of controlled wildfires raging in California wine country destroying homes and sending people running for safety

Firefighters working hard to tame the flame scorching hundreds of acres in the Bay Area

Mandatory evacuations are in place for most of Napa in Sonoma County's look at those flames

Schools are closed today and evacuation centers are being set up to shelter those ordered to leave

Vice President Mike Pence walks out of an NFL game yesterday as the vice president and his wife stood for the national anthem at

Yesterday's Colts 49ers game several 49ers players took a knee

Pence left right after that and defended the walkout in a series of tweets saying quote

I left today's Colts game because POTUS and I will not dignify any event the

disrespects our soldiers our flag our or our

national anthem at a time when so many Americans are inspiring our nation with their courage resolve and

Resilience now more than ever we should rally around our flag and everything that unites us

Let's bring in today's media panel Jill Concha is a media reporter for the hill

Judy Miller is a Pulitzer prize-winning investigative reporter and author also a Fox News contributor. Thanks both of you for being here

Judy to you first

You're a little suspicious. I guess of the vice president's motives here

Yes, I am and I am because the press pool those who accompanied the vice president out to Indianapolis for

This game was never even taken into the stadium

So they knew the press knew

Everyone knew that the president vice president's appearance was going to be very brief there didn't even have time to buy a hotdog

just

Wanted to make a political point at the taxpayers expense because this trip

According to all the reporting of what these these flights cost

was two hundred and fifty thousand dollars round-trip airfare on

Vice on the Air Force - that doesn't even count all of the

People on the ground the ambulance the extra security

Everything that goes was something like this just to make a point and then the President himself

undermined

His vice president's stance as a man of principle by saying

I ordered him to do it so is a vice president pence a man of principle

Or is a president Trump's Terrier his faithful gofer

I mean

That's what that's what this looks like I think this is going to not help either

The President or the Vice President all right Joe

But you know vice presidents and presidents make a lot of trips for symbolic purposes

And if the Vice President was simply trying to show that you know rallying around the flag is important

What's wrong with it? Well first of all I own a terrier Judy. Okay, so I don't appreciate the

$250,000 as you said just to start here's the thing though during the previous presidents tenure of eight years he did

Hundreds of fundraisers all across the country at taxpayers expense

And we didn't really talk about that all that much so if pence did this for political purposes

Okay, that's been done before so we really shouldn't be upset about that and by the way

I like how you know when NFL players kneel that's them exercising their First Amendment rights

But when the Vice President protests the protests and walks out

It's called and this is what 49ers safety Eric reads that systemic oppression

Oh, I didn't realize it work that way John. Yeah, Judy

I mean the team the 49ers could have ended the whole thing by simply not taking a knee

I mean haven't there they made their point by now

Well they have made their point and they're also adjusting the way in which they choose to

Demonstrate their cause which is you know to protest racial inequality in this country?

They're changing their tactics because they understand some Americans are offended by it, but look

This is the administration and Joe you know this that promise to drain the swamp, but what is the swamp other than taking?

Flights like this at the taxpayers expense there

It does have this useful function for them

And that is it distracts the American people from all of the things President Trump promised

He was going to do and hasn't done for the American people it is a very useful distraction, but other than that

I don't think it serves the public's interest well

You know it was supposed to that he's obviously the former governor of Indiana

It was a Colts game Joe Peyton Manning's Colts Jersey was going to be retired

There's a legitimate reason for him to go to that game

And you know according to his tweets and the presidents as well

There was a legitimate reason for him to walk out if he didn't like the the kneeling yeah

This wasn't just any Colts 49ers game this was Peyton Manning being on or not just with his jersey being retired

But also a statue outside there as well and Peyton Manning perhaps is the most popular figure ever to emerge from

Indiana at least in modern times one that'll every bird might argue with that, but yeah

That's a very good point. Let's let's say the most popular football player all the time

Yeah, I'm gonna play that one safe. Good point on bird

But look here's the thing these these protests are

Hurting this league like we've never seen before Winston group comes out with a poll today

And it turns out that only 42% of men between the ages of 35 and 54 now see the NFL favorably is say 42%

That's not bad. You know where that number was in August 73%. It's dropped

31% in a matter of months and the only thing it could look at is these

Protests are hurting the image of the league because it looks like they're disrespecting the flag

Veterans even if that isn't the purpose that's how people

Mostly are seeing it these these players on a look up the major league baseball strike

And and see you know what kind of effect that had on the league back in the day alright good discussion Joe conscious Gd Miller

Thank you both. Thank you

It's on-again off-again now on again. We are talking about healthcare again

Well president Trump uses pen to dismantle parts of Obamacare

Plus inside the mind of a killer what led this man to gunned down fifty eight people at a concert

People he presumably didn't even know what we're learning about Stephen Patek

Right now investigators are still working to figure out a motive a week after the Las Vegas

massacre what drove Steven paddock to open fire on a country music concert

killing 58 people

We are learning more about the man who was a high-stakes gambler and a frequent guest at Vegas casinos

He's been staying in Las Vegas since oh six so you know we're talking about 11 years

With his girlfriend or at least in recent years frequent visitor once or twice a month to this hotel and others

The most vanilla profile one could possibly imagine a modest gambler at least by our standards

You know nothing serious paid prompt

What If You Only Drank Coke (Soda) and Nothing Else? - Duration: 6:25.

Most of us humans have a sweet tooth, but it wasn't always that way.

In the 18th century, the British were refining large amounts of sugar but it was still considered

quite the luxury item.

In fact, it was known as "White Gold" and it was so precious and expensive that

only the very wealthy ate it.

Today the sugar industry is huge, and while our daily intake of this sweet delight should

only be about 50 grams according to health experts, it's thought when American sugar

consumption was at its peak in 1999, citizens were consuming close to 111 grams a day on

average.

It's thought right now that number is 94 grams.

A big part of that is sugar in our drinks, and that's what we'll discuss today, in

this episode of the Infographics Show, What would happen if you only drank Coke and nothing

else?

Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our

Notification Squad.

The history of Coca-Cola starts in 1886 when an American pharmacist called Dr. John S.

Pemberton started messing around with carbonated water and syrup.

According to Coke's own website, he was quite pleased with the results and within

a year he was selling nine servings a day, each for 5 cents.

Right now, around 1.9 billion servings of Coke are sold daily.

That's more than a quarter of the world's 7.5 billion people quaffing this drink every

day.

It's believed that half the population of the USA drinks at least half a glass of soda

every day of their lives.

But is that good for them?

First, we have to know what's actually in Coke?

Is there really a secret ingredient that nobody can fathom except its creators?

The secret formula was actually created as a marketing stunt in 1891, but still today,

Coke says only a very few people on the inside know what that is.

Coke actually labels each ingredient as a merchandise, and they are numbered one to

nine.

One is of them is of course sugar, or other sweeteners, and we know it also contains caffeine,

caramel coloring, and phosphoric acid.

The rest of the ingredients are a mystery, although it's thought there might be orange,

lime, vanilla, cinnamon and even nutmeg in the syrup.

One of the ingredients is called 7X.

In a book on the subject, writer Mark Prendergast said he had found the hidden ingredients and

they were a mix of oils containing extract of Orange, Lemon, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Coriander,

Neroli and also some alcohol.

Neroli is an essential oil from the orange tree.

And yes, the drink did at one point contain cocaine, but in those days the coca leaf was

promoted as a health benefit.

According to Snopes, it only contained "1/400 of a grain of cocaine per ounce of syrup."

That is not enough to make a person high, but it was still removed from the drink in

1903, 11 years before cocaine was actually made illegal in the USA.

Prior to that it was the drink's selling point, with its creator – a morphine addict

himself – saying that Coke was "a most wonderful invigorator of sexual organs."

Much has changed, but Coke's marketing strategy is still often related to having a lust for

life, youth, spirit, and sexiness.

Now let's talk about the sugar.

There are nine grams of sugar in every 100 grams of the drink.

In a 12 oz (355 ml) can of Coke there are 39 grams of sugar.

But we all know how much people like to overdose on Coke.

A 7-Eleven Big Gulp of Coke contains 91 grams of sugar, almost double the recommended daily

dose.

A Super Gulp contains 146 grams of sugar and a Double Gulp 186 grams of sugar.

A large Coke at McDonalds contains about 77 grams of sugar.

Drinks got so big that New York created the Sugary Drinks Portion Cap Rule, but that didn't

affect 7-Eleven's monstrous portions.

It only applied to restaurants, which were prohibited from serving sugary drinks bigger

than 16 ounces (0.5 liters).

No surprise the sugar drink conglomerates opposed the bill, stating that poor income

families would lose out on those great deals.

You could of course splurge and buy 3 separate drinks.

According to MotherJones, the biggest drinks out there are these in order: 7-Eleven Team

Gulp at 128 fluid ounces, HuMUGous Kum and Go at 100 ounces, The Beast's Arco at 85

ounces, and KFC's Mega Jug at 64 ounces.

That would mean one Team Gulp is 10.6 cans of Coke, or 415 grams of sugar.

That is more than 8 times more sugar than what doctors say is safe to consume each day.

Maybe if you just drank Coke and nothing else, you might consume that amount, but what affect

would it have on the body?

Maybe we can imagine a Zombie Apocalypse and you are locked in a Coke warehouse, and there's

nothing but stock.

As you can imagine, your teeth would soon start to rot.

The acid content in the Coke would destroy the enamel on your teeth and the sugar would

soon lead to cavities.

The calories you consumed would be less than the recommended 2000 if you drank 10.6 cans

of Coke at 150 calories a can, but still, the contents would hurt you.

According to one health website, all that high fructose corn syrup you are consuming

would start to increase fat on your liver.

It also said you would be at risk of getting cardiovascular disease.

Believe it or not, one super fit guy from Los Angeles named George Prior actually drank

10 cans of Coke every day for 30 days.

He did eat other things, too, though.

After his binge, the British Press said he put on 28 pounds (two stone or 12.7 kilos).

From being slim, he developed love handles, a pot belly, and man boobs.

He also said his blood pressure went up from 129/77 to 145/96.

His conclusion: "I think there are a lot of people suffering health problems like diabetes

and heart disease, who aren't aware they could help themselves by just stopping sugar."

He also admitted that the big corporations and their lobbying arms would be hard to stop.

Back to our Coke binge.

According to some experts at Yale University, we'd start ageing rapidly, as well as putting

on pounds and losing teeth.

The same study says that we'd feel really hungry all the time as sweet tastes increase

appetite.

We might even start gnawing at the crates in the warehouse.

Weight gain would be definite.

Studies have shown that one fifth of America's famous obesity epidemic is from people just

drinking too many sugary drinks.

Another article explains that one woman drank two litres of soda every day and no water

at all for 16 years.

Her addiction put her in the hospital at the age of just 31.

She was suffering from arrhythmia, fainting spells, and potassium deficiency.

You can only imagine what our Coke-only diet would do to us.

Research has shown that just reducing the amount of sugar in drinks could prevent over

a million cases of obesity.

What does the world health organization say about this?

"We have solid evidence that keeping intake of free sugars to less than 10% of total energy

intake reduces the risk of overweight, obesity and tooth decay," said the WHO's Department

of Nutrition for Health and Development in 2015.

Things could soon change, but sugar politics is a big deal and in the end, the bottom line

is more important than your health, say most critics.

The sugar industry has spent 54 million dollars lobbying in the last 8 years.

Well, in the UK, politicians knew this and tried to come up with a way to reduce obesity

in the country by taxing sugar higher.

This hasn't come in yet, but already drinks manufacturers have begun reducing the sugar

in their drinks in the UK by as much as 50 percent because of this.

Coke was one of those companies, but the 30 percent sugar reduction will only happen in

the UK, according to CNN.

So, how much soda do you drink in a day?

Will this video get you to reduce your intake?

How Much Do You Poop In A Lifetime? - Duration: 6:33.

You say toilet and I say bathroom, he says loo and she says restroom.

We certainly have a lot of names for what the English might have once referred to as

the water closet.

We also have a lot of expressions for what we do in there.

Do we take a pee, have a wiz, or when we are sick, we may have a doctor ask us to urinate

in a small plastic tub?

What about doing a number 2, as opposed to doing a number 1, something we are much coyer

letting people know about.

Maybe we simply take a dump, have a crap, go for a poop, or the more creative of us

may drop the kids off at the pool or even release the chocolate hostage.

Today we are going to broach this sometimes embarrassing topic, in this episode of the

Infographics Show, How Much Do You Poop in a Lifetime?

Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our

Notification Squad.

First of all, let's have a look at the different kinds of toilets in the world.

The most common is the sitting toilet; that is probably the one you have used today at

some point.

This is known formally as the European water closet, hence you might sometimes see the

initials WC instead of restroom or toilet.

There are of course lots of variations on this type of toilet, but they are pretty much

all iterations of this common sit down flushing bowl toilet.

The other common toilet is what we call the squat toilet, sometimes known as Anglo Indian

pans, which can either be raised from the ground or at almost the same level as the

ground but resting on about 2 or 3 inches of cement above the floor.

These toilets are actually said to be better in terms of letting things out of our body,

although when westerners visit countries in Asia where they are common, they might complain

about the discomfort of crouching, or squatting.

They can be found in countries such as China, Thailand, Iran, Russia, Kenya or Syria, but

they are on the decline and being replaced with sit down toilets.

They generally don't have a flushing mechanism, and you often have to throw water down there

after you've done your business.

The history of the toilet is obviously a long and complex one, as it's not as if defecating

is modern.

In Ancient Egypt, it's thought people would excrete into a sand pit and when the pit was

ready, it would be emptied.

The Romans had sewers, and so the feces would be carried away in sewage water.

It's also said privacy was not that important in Ancient Rome and so when you did your stuff,

it might have been next to another person.

The first flushing toilets similar to the ones we enjoy today arrived in 1596 when Sir

John Harington installed one for the English Queen.

But it wasn't until 1775 that Scottish mechanic Alexander Cumming invented a flush toilet

very much like the one we use today.

Thomas Crapper did not invent the flush toilet, but he was one of the top manufacturers of

toilets in the 19th century.

That's where we get the expression "take a crap".

These days you'll find smart toilets and smart urinals, which might include bidet functions,

seat warming, and deodorization.

At the moment, Japan seems to be leading the way in such toilets.

Another thing Asians are fond of is the spray gun, which mean spraying water on your anus

instead of wiping it with tissue paper.

The brits call that toilet roll.

Westerners generally feel uncomfortable doing this, but most end up preferring it and admitting

it's somewhat cleaner.

Some cultures use their hands and water, which makes most westerners squeamish.

Sewers weren't always as good as they are today.

In the year of 1858, during two unusually hot months in London, the city was hit with

what was called The Great Stink.

The stink from human waste pervaded the air making people very ill.

Methane gases exploded and killed people, and thousands more died of cholera.

Novelist Charles Dickens wrote of the Great Stink, "I can certify that the offensive

smells, even in that short whiff, have been of a most head-and-stomach-distending nature."

Sewers these days are much better, if not still sometimes home to alligators or snakes.

In Thailand recently, media have reported numerous incidents in which pythons have made

it all the way to the toilet and bitten someone.

One unfortunate man in 2016 had to have the huge snake removed from his private parts,

causing quite the bloody mess in the bathroom and landing him in the hospital.

There have also been reports of snakes in the toilet bowl in the UK, Australia, South

Africa and the USA in the last few years.

It sounds crazy but it's a serious problem.

Earlier this year in Thailand, two different snakes scared and bit members of one family

in their luxury house in the space of one week.

Now the family is not surprisingly scared to take a poop.

So, let's really get down to business and talk about what we do on the "bog" – that's

a British expression.

Humans don't poop too often compared to some animals.

Geese for instance are said to poop every 12 minutes, while we all know rabbits release

silos of droppings - about 300 to 500 pellets a day depending on the rabbit and its diet.

All animals dispose of their food waste, except they just have different ways of doing it.

Jellyfish, for instance, poo from the same orifice they eat from.

The only animal that we can find that doesn't poo is the demodex mite, which doesn't have

an orifice from which to poo from.

They store the waste until their time is up.

As for us humans, we generally poo on average once a day, but as you well know this is not

always the case.

It's thought that the average person will excrete about 4.5 ounces (128 g) of fresh

feces every day.

It also depends on how much you eat, so a 300 pound man will poop a lot more than a

100 pound girl.

According to the National Center for Health Statistics, an American man of average weight

– about 196 pounds (88.9 kilos) – will poop about 360 pounds of feces every year.

That means if you saved your poop over the year, you'd be able to fill up an oil barrel.

The poop, though, of course would get smaller as it gets older.

If you lived until you were 70 that means you'd make something like 25,200 pounds

(11,430.5 kilos) worth of poop.

That's about two times more than the largest kind of elephant, The African Bush elephant.

According to the New Scientist, a healthy human will on average spend 12 seconds evacuating

his or her bowels.

This doesn't include waiting there for more to come out, but the actual time when the

feces is being excreted.

If you pooed once a day, this would mean in a 70 year lifespan, you'd spend 3.5 days

releasing feces from your anus.

That's much different from how much time we spend on the toilet waiting, reading, and

thinking, which is said to be about 42 minutes a week or 92 days in a lifetime – the research

didn't say how long a lifetime was, but it was British so we can expect around 79

years.

What about doing a number one?

Well, as you well know that all depends on fluid intake.

If you watch a football match and drink an entire case of beer, you are going to pee

a lot.

But on average we consume about 8-12.5 cups (2-3 litres) of water a day.

The website Medicine Plus says the average liquid consumption a day is about 8 cups (2

litres), and on average we'll take a wiz about 6-7 times a day.

The pee output for drinking 8 cups (2 litres) a day is anything from 3-8 cups (800-2000

milliliters).

This might be affected by age, health, medical conditions and bladder size.

That's very important, as you'll notice some of your friends will often complain about

having a weak bladder.

According to what's called the "Law of Urination" our standard average peeing time

is 21 seconds.

If we say we pee 7 times a day on average for 70 years, that would mean we spend an

average of 43.4 days in total urinating.

In that time, if we take the average of 8 cups (2 liters) a day, we will have peed a

grand total of 13,500,000 gallons (51,100,000 litres) in a 70 year lifetime.

How much pee is that?

Well, it's quite a lot.

An Olympic swimming pool holds about 660,430 gallons (2.5 million litres) of water.

So if you pee 8 cups (2 litres) a day for 70 years, you could fill up 20.4 Olympic swimming

pools with your own urine.

I guess at that point you could call yourself a peeing Olympiad.

So, Are you the average person on the toilet?

Have you ever tried a squat toilet?
