I am here firing with the handgun
it is made by a local craftsman here
Dear friends i am here in Weapon factory near kohat industrial estate
Here many people works
And the craftsmen here are facing many difficulties
the people who works here say that
that weapons factories here are Licensed but they got no privileges
craftsmen here can make international standards weapons
but they called me that they are facing many problems
Handgun we started program with, cannot be identified as a copy or imported one
We love imported guns so the local ones are
sometimes stamped with imported brands and we enjoy them relentlessly
Personally i am against weapons but
today weapons are our need but should be used for good purposes
I am here in factory so lets talk to workers, what problems do they face
Rafiq is working here for a long time
and in this factory he is the master of copying imported guns
Rafiq please tell me what Handgun did you copied
Zigana sport
Tell me does your Handguns do Kaboom (explodes)
What ? (he used slang word for kaboom)
I mean does it explodes we call it in our village Pucha (kaboom)
Those craftsmen who use good material and has trained machinists
and then if the craftsman has talent and can understands it
Then his product will never fail
Can these craftsmen make international standard weapons or not?
If we get assistance yes we can
Assistance ?
No one asks about us
How workers are doing?
Workers are in dire situation
I am asking about the situation of those who works here
and why does government does not buy their products ? instead imports expensive weapons
If we get assistance in Tempering and high quality steel
and we gets high quality materials then there will be no need to import weapons
If i can make good guns with bad materials what will i make with good materials
Unfortunately we have no voice as we do not have any union
No one raised his voice for us
watch this handgun it was rough and colorless
It went through chemical process and now it is in finished form
Question: this department is under your supervision? Answer: yes yes
We are hearing that you people are very talented but lack govt. support, Is it true?
Yes it is absolutely true
we illiterate engineers can produce international standards weapons
Products that govt. buy at 3 to 3.5 lac in international market
We can make those without any machines with our own hands
and these will be very cheap and easy to make
Question: Is there any trace of govt.support in you work
Nowadays Pakistan Hunting and Sporting arms development compmany
We hope they will make a difference
How these handmade guns, made by workers lacking technical education,
certificates and is illiterate, can compete with English or other big brands products
Yes we can compete, A myth is these products are not good
Our own mistake is we write made in china or made in USA on it, we can compete because the process is same
For example this Anodizing process is same in USA here and other parts of the world
But they do it with technology and machines we do it very simply
Imagine if this was was an American factory, and i was documenting it , let me show you picture of that
If this was american factory he would be in full uniform
He would have eye protection, gloves, and a mask
his own cap, boots and unit of operation where on one can enter without permission
He is dipping this gun in that scrap tub/Barrel
Compare this with those american factories
Compare this illiterate worker with those highly educated Americans
Despite all these, he uses his skills and makes a good quality product
Dear friends this is Akdal Shotgun, Originally made in turkey
This one is made here by that gentleman
He said to me, The original will fail but not this one because i made it myself
This can fail that original one
In Turkey, Engineers in a big factory, with sophisticated machines, and R & D made this weapon
Here in this factory, there are chopped onions, Tomatoes,
Look there is dirt, a broken bed and very old bed sheets
I mean situation here is very bad, but the workers here have golden hands
All this bad environment, becomes pleasant by these magical hands
Please tell me how many days it takes to make Akdal
At least four days
Question: You are claiming your copy is better than orginal AKDAL why?
Because we have used Darra 's Skills inside its mechanism
If you can make such quality products then why govt. is importing civilian weapons
They do import guns and do not help us to grow
This Akdal made here in this factory
Do you mill or stamp the metal and other parts here?
We make all its part here in the basement with machines
(He asked where were you, he replied with guests)
Tell me what you make?
I make Zigana and Beretta handguns
Your Zigana or Beretta is good or not ?
Thank GOD, We make them in hundreds and thousands and no one has complained yet
What about its strength, Durability, reliability, FTEs, FTFs etc ?
People here say do not trust Hand Made Gun but
Its weapon and Imported guns can also fail, An imported Klashankov stopped in my own hands
I mean if you got bad product then its bad imported or local one
Let me ask again, Here workers are complaining about lack of government support
Why government does not support you? Do you make low quality products?
If its bad quality then why they gave us License to make them
I supervise many workers, they now works outside, because restrictions have downed our business
We work legally on Licenses issued from government
OK bring out your Zigana and Beretta for shooting
